Brookfield viscometers

The viscosity measuring principle retained by Brookfield is to apply a force of movement to a product while putting it at a fixed rotation speed, a spindle of a fixed size. The resistance of the product to the movement of the spindle rotation is recorded with the assistance of an internal spiral spring, then converted into viscometric units. In order to extend the viscosity measuring limits, several spindles, speeds and spring types are used. The viscometers LV are delivered with a set of 4 spindles. The models RV, HA and HB are delivered with a set of 6 spindles (the additional spindle no. 1 is available in option).

Analog viscometer Dial Reading

Measures the viscosity of liquid products by an easy, fast and precise method.

  • Analog reading. Scale 0-100 %.
  • Supplied with converter.
  • Can be used with all the Brookfield accessories.
 
   

Digital viscometer DV-E

Viscometer with digital display, direct reading of the viscosity and torque percentage.
Its 2 strong points : its simplicity and its price.

  • Indicator when out of range.
  • Auto Range.
  • Accuracy : 1 % - Repeatability : 0,2 %.
  • Can be used with all the Brookfield accessories.
 
   

Digital viscometer DV1M

The digital viscometer DV1M has all the features of the DV-E model, plus the following functions :

  • RS-232 PC interface (optional Wingather Software).
  • Splashproof sensitive keyboard.
  • Analog output.
  • Auto timing functions (time to torque, time to stop).
  • In option : temperature probe.
 
   

Brookfield rheometer DV2T

The most versatile programmable rheometer in the Brookfield range :

  • Color touch screen display supports multiple languages.
  • Displayed info included : viscosity (cP), temperature, shear rate/stress, % torque, spindle/speed, step program status.
  • Built-in temperature probe.
  • Enhanced security : customizable user access, date/time stamp file, password access, portable log-in settings.
  • Built-In options include timed tests, data averaging, programmable QC limits/alarms, customizable speed/spindle lists, on screen data comparison.
  • USB PC interface provides optional computer control and automatic data gathering capability.
  • Download custom test programs with included PG Flash software.
  • In option : RheocalcT software can analyze data, generate multiple plot overlays, print tabular data, run math models and perform other time-saving routines.

  • Available in EXTRA version with Q lab stand easily moves the viscometer up and down, EZ-Lock spindle coupling for quick spindle attachment and removal, ball bearing suspension system and RheocalcT software included.

Brookfield Falling Ball viscometer KF

The Brookfield Falling Ball Viscometer uses the simple — but precise — Höppler principle to measure the viscosity of Newtonian liquid by measuring the time  required for a ball to fall under gravity through a sample-filled tube.
Proposed in 2 versions:
  • KF 30 : fixed angle according to DIN 53015
  • KF 40 : variable angle
